Disrupt Health Impact Fund

Wiriya Sakcharoenchai (Pop) is an Investment Manager at Disrupt Technology Venture, leading the Disrupt Health Impact Fund out of Bangkok. In this role, he has sourced and analyzed over 150 HealthTech deals across 18 countries and plays a key part in shaping Thailand’s regional healthcare innovation strategy. The Health Impact Fund, backed by partners like Samitivej Hospital Group’s Digital Health Ventures and Sripatum University, targets DeepTech startups at pre-Series A to Series B stages, typically investing $500K–$2M to scale breakthrough solutions in areas like self-care, preventive health, holistic wellness, smart hospitals, and aging populations.

Before joining the fund, Pop managed VC education programs including VC 101—Thailand’s first curriculum for venture and angel investing—and served at Microsoft as a technology strategist focused on process improvement and business automation. His combined expertise in corporate tech strategy and early-stage deal sourcing enables him to assess startups not only for market fit but also for operational scalability.

For startups building health-focused DeepTech, working with Wiriya means gaining an investor who brings strong execution credentials, regional healthcare insight, and connection to an ecosystem supported by prominent Thai healthcare and industrial partners.
